Tree Talk Plus (TTP) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, registered by the Registrar of Companies (Reg. No. 181679). It is supervised by a Board of Directors that provides strategic guidance and leadership within a framework of prudent and effective controls towards compliance with the laws and policies of Uganda, including financial practices and reporting.
Tree Talk Plus works towards shaping the minds and attitudes of communities for improved land-use practices, building resilience towards climate change catastrophes and improving the lives of ordinary people. It does this through Communication, Education, Participation and Awareness (CEPA) approach; to raise awareness on values and functions and creating an environment for pedagogical approaches that enable learning.
Tree Talk Plus aims to:
- 1.To advocate against any form of environmental abuse and encourage communities to engage in ecosystem restoration actions,

- 2.To advocate for good governance of environment and natural resources through available spaces at national and sub-national levels,

- 3.Undertake studies and review of the policy, legal, institutional frameworks relating to governance of natural resources,

- 4.Promote information, education, communication and demonstration of best practices in environment and natural resources management,

- 5.Engage the media to be able to create and project a positive image of the environment and natural resources sector.

- 6.Collaborate with like-minded institutions to support government efforts in delivering climate-smart development to communities.

- 7.Promoting Integrated Water Resources Management by undertaking development works in the water and sanitation sector.

- 8.Establishing model enterprises in natural resource management demonstrating the wise use of environment resources and natural resources.
Vision statement – is a nature-based community with improved quality of life.
Mission statement – is to promote ecologically sound land use, water resources and natural resource management through green enterprises for improved livelihoods.
This will be achieved through:
- 1.Initiating natural resources management projects aimed at alleviating poverty, encouraging climate-smart development, addressing unemployment and social deviations.

- 2.Undertaking communication, education and public awareness in sectors such as agriculture, forestry, water, land management, wetland management, energy and climate change among others.

- 3.Promoting Integrated Water Resources Management as an integral component of land resources management.

- 5.Establishing model farms as demonstrations for the wise use of natural resources.
