INSURANCE SERVICE PROVIDER
Climate action Network Uganda(CAN-U) is in the process of procuring an insurance service to its Employees and there fore requests all eligible service providers to Submit in their proposals and the proposal should contain the following details below.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE COMPANY AND PERSONNEL QUALIFICATION
- Extensive experience and a proven track record in the health insurance business
- Wide networks for national and international coverage
- Reliable health coverage services
- Sound experience in servicing international organizations
- Ability to provide 24-hours service
- Ability to provide reimbursement system by sending the claim to employee’s bank account
- Real time administrative support systems
- Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations, whilst maintaining high quality standards of service delivery
GENERAL PROVISIONS
- This tender is open for both Health Insurance Company and Health Insurance Broker.
- The number of Employers are Three(03) plus Two(02) beneficiaries on each Employee. Total = 09(Nine)
- Please submit the health insurance proposal according to the health insurance benefit as requested
which contains below information:
- Inpatient benefit
- Outpatient benefit
- Dental
- Optical
- Maternity
- Provider coverage
- Premium price
- General condition
- General Exclusion
Only proposals that fully address the mandatory services listed in the bidding requirement will be evaluated.
Due date of submission: Monday, October 04th, 2024 at 6:00 pm. The proposal that comes after the time will not be accepted.

It is supervised by a Board of Directors that provides strategic guidance and leadership within a framework of prudent and effective controls towards compliance with the laws and policies of Uganda, including financial practices and reporting.
